By accessing or using Barcode-Generator.in (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

The Service provides a free, browser-based barcode generation tool. You may use it for personal, commercial, or educational purposes, subject to these terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate barcodes that encode illegal, fraudulent, or harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or disrupt the Service.
• Use automated bots or scrapers in ways that place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

2. No Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that barcodes generated will be accepted by any particular scanner, retailer, or system. Always verify barcodes against the relevant standard before using them commercially.

3. Intellectual Property

The barcode images you generate are yours. The underlying engine (bwip-js) is open-source under the MIT licence. The Service design, code, and brand are owned by Barcode-Generator.in.

4. Third-Party Libraries

The Service uses bwip-js (MIT) and Libre Barcode 39 Text (SIL Open Font Licence). Their respective licences apply.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barcode-Generator.in shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
